    • Application: a) An application for rectification by Bravospace 289 CC in terms of Sections 24F and 24G of the NEMA, as amended; and b) Granting an environmental authorisation to Bravospace 289 CC in terms of Section 24G of NEMA for the unlawful commencement and operation of activities.
    • Registration and Commenting Period: The Environmental Impact Report is available for review and comment by registered I&AP’s from 14 November 2023 to 14 December 2023.     NOTICE OF THE AMENDMENT OF THE EXISTING ENVIRONMENTAL AUTHORISATION (EA) GAUT 002/11-12/E0198 IN TERMS OF REGULATION 31 AND 32 OF THE EIA REGULATIONS, 2014, AS AMENDED, FOR THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT OF PORTION 1086 (PTN OF PTN 79) OF THE FARM DOORNFONTEIN 92 IR DENVER EXT. 20, JOHANNESBURG, GAUTENG

    • Applicant: Maretsel Property Trust
    • Location: Portion 1086 (Ptn of Ptn 79) of the Farm Doornfontein 92 IR, City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality, GP. The site coordinates are 26°12'29.6"S; 28°06'26.0"E.
    • Proposed Development: The proposed amendment to the Environmental Authorisation (EA) involves the change of authorised land use from “Industrial” to “Mixed use” with “Residential 4” and “Industrial” land uses. Necessary access roads and services (water, sewer, and stormwater) will also be put in place.
    • Competent Authorities: Gauteng Department of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment (GDARDE).
    • Amendments: A Part 2 Amendment of the existing EA in terms of Regulation 31 and 32 of the EIA Regulations, 2014,as amended, is required. This includes the change of land use “Industrial” to “Mixed use” with “Residential 4” and “Industrial” land uses as well as to accommodate the future link road between Main Reef Road to Lower Germiston Road.
    • Review of the Amendment Report: An Amendment Report has been compiled and will be available for review from 01 September 2023 to 30 September 2023.
    • Register as an Interested and Affected Party (I&AP) by submitting contact details and comments to the contact person listed below by 30 September 2023. I&AP’s will be added to the I&AP Register for ongoing communication and final submission to the Competent Authority. Personal information will be handled in terms of the POPI Act, 2013.
